Swae Lee got into a fight with Coachella security just seconds before he and Slim Jxmmi were about to perform.
The brawl occurred during Coachella's second weekend and was captured video capture and later posted by TMZ.
According to Swae's management, the problem began as the duo went towards Coachella's Outdoor Theatre stage at approximately 5:55 PM on Sunday, with security claiming they did not identify the Sremm 4 Life hitmaker at the time. When additional security personnel descended on Swae, things escalated into violence. To make matters worse, Swae's newborn infant was close.
Swae is seen being pushed against the fence as numerous security personnel proceed to assault a man in the rapper's camp. As the altercation proceeds, one of Swae's guards quickly snatches Swae's newborn baby, who was in a car seat next to Swae, and puts him out of the way.
"As Swae Lee attempted to enter the festival with his newborn son and working crew, overzealous security guards confronted them," according to the rapper's management.“Security claimed not to recognize the talent and then aggressively initiated contact as they attempted to make their way to the stage.”
Swae's management went on to say that the security guards were "independent contractors" who were "clearly being the aggressors and then throwing gang signs at the end of the video in celebration."
