Lil Tay Slams 'Irrelevant' Latto Over Alleged Diss - WhatsOnRap

Lil Tay Attacks Latto as 'Irrelevant' in Response to Perceived Diss

Lil Tay Clashes with Latto Over Social Media Popularity
In an unexpected turn of events, it seems that Lil Tay isn't exactly singing Latto's praises after what she perceives as a slight.

The 16-year-old internet sensation, fresh off her musical debut with the track "Sucker 4 Green," took aim at Latto, 24, following a screenshot circulating of the rapper's X account allegedly endorsing a tweet that threw shade at Tay.

The contentious tweet read, "Since Barbs wanna compare YouTube views. Let’s compare Spotify monthly listeners. Lil Tay-5.4k monthly listeners. Latto-34.6M monthly listeners. The math ain’t mathing🤣🤣🤣." User @Melatto23 explained that they posted this in response to Nicki Minaj fans who purportedly asserted that Lil Tay "is on Latto’s level."

A fan page dedicated to Lil Tay shared the screenshot, captioning it, “E list rapper ‘latto’ seemingly disses Lil Tay in recently liked tweet.” Tay herself chimed in, stating, “@Latto my ONLY song came out 2 days ago and it outdebuted all of ur recent releases ur irrelevant stop coming for me. Who the f*ck even is Latto??? 🥱.”

Tay's reference appears to center on the YouTube success of their respective singles. As of this publication, Latto's "Issa Party" music video, which dropped on Friday (Sept. 29), has garnered just under 385,000 views. In contrast, Tay’s “Sucker 4 Green," released the following day, has soared to an impressive 2.7 million views.

A few hours later, Tay posted a photo of the “Put It on Da Floor” rapper, questioning, “So this is the ugly bitch that was coming for me?” She continued in a separate tweet, “She look like ice spice starting dealing crack.” Tay confidently asserted, “You all say I’m irrelevant but I did this shit in a couple days without hyping it up. I am a QUEEN.”
However, it’s worth noting that the tweet that ignited this feud doesn't actually appear in Latto’s “liked” list. As of now, Latto has not responded to Tay's comments.

For Tay, whose real name is Tay Tian, this musical venture comes on the heels of a death hoax and grave accusations she has made against her father, Chris Hope, and his wife.
In a candid Instagram Live session, she revealed, "They were always playing sexually inappropriate movies in front of me. She would always take her anger out on me. She punched me, pinched me. Chris shoved me." Tay went on to emphasize, "[Chris] is not the fucking good guy here. He wanted control over my career and money and I had to go through, me and my family, had to go through even more years of abuse through the court system because of him. But in the end we won. I am free now. I thank God for it, I thank my mom for it."
