Offset Displays Iconic "Thriller" Jacket Worn by Michael Jackson

Offset's admiration for Michael Jackson has reached new heights, as he proudly displays the actual red varsity jacket once worn by the late King of Pop in the iconic "Thriller" music video.

Taking to Twitter, the Atlanta native responded to a fan's light-hearted jest about his MJ fandom. The day before, BAPE unveiled an upcoming Michael Jackson collaboration, featuring a reimagined version of the renowned jacket.

The fan playfully remarked that they needed to secure the jacket before Offset could, but the former Migos member made it clear that he stands among the most devoted Michael Jackson enthusiasts worldwide. His post showcased him holding Jackson's cherished garment, accompanied by the caption, "The actual jacket here."

Eagerly, Offset is anticipated to keep a close eye on the impending BAPE Michael Jackson collaboration set to release via the BAPE website and stores starting October 28. The collaboration promises an assortment of 50 unique pieces, ranging from t-shirts to sweatshirts.

This isn't the first time Offset has openly demonstrated his reverence for Michael Jackson. Just last month, the 31-year-old rapper unveiled the music video for "Fan," a piece paying homage to various pivotal eras, iconic outfits, and timeless music videos of the King of Pop ("Thriller," "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal"). In an official statement accompanying "Fan," Offset elaborated on his decision to incorporate MJ's legacy into the visual.
