A$AP Rocky's Jog Turns Into Impromptu Interview: Fatherhood, Album, and Drake Disses Discussed
A$AP Rocky transformed a casual Monday jog in West Hollywood into an unexpected interview opportunity when a TMZ reporter joined him for the run.

This chance encounter happened just two months after the Harlem-born artist welcomed his second child, Riot Rose, with Rihanna. The birth coincided with the release of his recent single “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” in July, which initially gained attention in a Beats Studio Pro commercial.

To keep up, the journalist ditched her flip-flops and continued the conversation, delving into questions about Rocky’s thoughts on expanding his family. She referred to RiRi’s 2020 British Vogue cover story, where the global icon expressed her desire for “three or four” kids. Rocky, with a chuckle, playfully sidestepped the question, maintaining his stride.

As their jog progressed, the focus shifted towards Rocky’s highly anticipated fourth album, "Don’t Be Dumb." The reporter inquired whether the LP would address purported disses from Drake’s latest project, "For All The Dogs." However, amidst the rhythmic jogging, the “L$D” hitmaker’s response became inaudible.

It’s worth noting that the Toronto-based artist referenced Rocky in the Lil Yachty-assisted track “Another Late Night,” a move many interpreted as a lyrical shot. He rapped, “Bring them jokes up to the gang, we get to really flockin’ / Or send a finger to your mama in some FedEx boxes / Open up that s**t, it’s jaw droppin’, really shockin’, aye / I ain’t Pretty Flacko, b**ch, this s**t get really rocky.”

In an earlier conversation with DAZED, Rocky expressed his excitement for "Don’t Be Dumb," calling it his “finest body of work so far.” While the release date remains undisclosed, he hinted at pushing boundaries and embracing experimentation, urging listeners to approach it with open minds and experience it organically.
