Jacob Elordi, 'Euphoria' Star, Expresses Gratitude to Eminem for Helping Him Learn an American Accent - WhatsOnRap

Eminem Credited for Assisting 'Euphoria' Star Jacob Elordi with His American Accent

Euphoria's Jacob Elordi Thanks Eminem for Helping Him Master an American Accent
Eminem has garnered recognition (and sometimes criticism) for a wide array of things over the years. However, Euphoria's Jacob Elordi has an unexpected credit to attribute to the Detroit rapper – Eminem played a part in erasing Elordi's Australian accent.

In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Brisbane-born actor, known for his role as Nate Jacobs in the hit HBO series, shared his unique method of shedding his native accent. Elordi admitted to immersing himself in "a lot of Eminem, like a terribly large amount of Eminem." This musical immersion was instrumental in helping him adopt a more American way of speaking, and he expressed deep gratitude to Eminem for this unexpected assist.
“And I still love that man so much… I have to thank him so much for getting rid of [the accent],”he conveyed to Clarkson. Beyond Eminem's influence, Elordi discussed his broader musical interests. He mentioned artists like David Bowie, the National, and enthused about his “number one favorite thing to listen to,” which is Bon Iver.

While Eminem has been making headlines for endeavors beyond his iconic raps, he recently unveiled his own Mom’s Spaghetti sauce in a post on Instagram. The sauce, touted as “born to be served at a street level,”  is priced at $13 per jar (or $25 for a two-pack), though it's currently sold out.
