Timbaland Applauds Eminem's Timeless Bars on Missy Elliott's 'Busa Rhyme' in Candid Interview with DJ Whoo Kid
Timbaland, the legendary producer, continues to marvel at Eminem's remarkable verse on Missy Elliott's classic track "Busa Rhyme," produced over two decades ago. In a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Timbaland expressed awe at Slim Shady's lyrical prowess.

Recalling the recording session for the 1999 hit from Missy Elliott's album "Da Real World," Timbaland couldn't hide his admiration for Eminem. "When I heard Eminem come in there and spit that verse, I was like, ‘Oh, can’t nobody see this guy,’” he shared. "This boy different."

Pointing to the memorable bars, "Well, I do pop pills, I keep my tube socks filled/ Then pop the same shit that got 2Pac killed," Timbaland emphasized how those lines left a lasting impact on him. "Those two bars — I couldn’t get past that."

This isn't the first time Timbaland has praised Eminem. Earlier this year, when revealing his Hip-Hop Mount Rushmore, Timbaland included the "Lose Yourself" hitmaker in the final cut.

In a podcast appearance, Timbaland paid homage to influential wordsmiths who shaped his career, mentioning iconic figures like Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, LL COOL J, Run-DMC, DJ Premier, Guru, Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man, Fat Joe, Big Pun, OutKast, Ludacris, JAY-Z, The Notorious B.I.G, 2Pac, Nas, and of course, Eminem.
