Snoop Dogg Applauds Kendrick Lamar and Drake for Promoting Lyricism Amidst Their Rap Battle

Snoop Dogg Weighs in on Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake Beef: Praises Both for Reviving Lyricism in Hip-Hop
Snoop Dogg, the iconic figure in hip-hop, has recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, lauding both for their contributions to lyricism in the genre.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight while promoting his role in The Garfield Movie, Snoop Dogg expressed admiration for the two heavyweight rappers.
He commended them for raising the bar in terms of lyricism, songwriting, and overall artistry since the feud began.
Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing because the writing has been upped since the confrontation.

Acknowledging their impact on the rap game, Snoop emphasized that he supports both Kendrick and Drake, referring to them as his "nephews."

He made it clear that he chooses not to involve himself in their personal business but rather appreciates their influence on the industry.
Those are my nephews. I’m not in the middle of it. I support both of them and that’s personal business, not my business. As far as what they did for the industry and the rap game, they made you rap again. You can’t mumble your way and gimmick your way to a song no more, buddy. So thank y’all.

Snoop Dogg Praises Both Kendrick Lamar and Drake Amidst Rap Beef:

Snoop highlighted the positive effect of the feud, stating that it compelled artists to focus on their craft and deliver meaningful lyrics, rather than relying on gimmicks or mumbled delivery.

He credited Kendrick and Drake for inspiring artists to prioritize authenticity and skill in their music.

While Snoop Dogg remained neutral in the feud, he did become indirectly involved when Drake used AI technology to simulate Snoop's voice in his diss track "Taylor Made Freestyle."

The track, which was later removed due to legal issues, featured a computer-generated version of Snoop delivering lines directed at Kendrick.

In response to the unexpected "feature" on Drake's track, Snoop humorously addressed the situation on social media, expressing bewilderment and humor at the turn of events.

Overall, Snoop Dogg's perspective on the Kendrick Lamar-Drake feud highlights the importance of artistic expression and authenticity in hip-hop, while also showcasing his trademark humor and laid-back demeanor.
