Desiigner Disses 50 Cent in Response to Record Deal Rejection

Desiigner has returned fire at 50 Cent after the legendary rapper and business mogul revealed that he once passed on signing the "Panda" rapper.

On September 3, Desiigner took to Instagram to share a freestyle aimed directly at 50 Cent, responding to the comments made during 50’s appearance on "Million Dollaz Worth of Game".

In the video, Desiigner raps over a hard-hitting beat, addressing the snub from 50. He didn’t hold back, spitting:

“N-ggas talkin’ that 50 Cent, I be talking 50 mill / N-ggas talkin’ that Timmy Turner, glad the n-gga got killed / I got signed to Kanye, lil n-gga, you was never worth a deal”

Desiigner Claps Back at 50 Cent With Diss Track After Deal Snub:

The sharp-tongued verse left little doubt about how Desiigner feels regarding 50’s assessment of his career.

Along with the freestyle, Desiigner tagged both 50 Cent and media personality Akademiks in his Instagram caption, referring to them as “trolls.”

The diss has yet to provoke a response from 50 Cent, who is known for his quick and often cutting reactions on social media.

This back-and-forth originated when 50 Cent discussed Desiigner during his interview on "Million Dollaz Worth of Game".

50 revealed that he had considered signing Desiigner to G-Unit Records before the Brooklyn rapper joined Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam.

According to 50, he was intrigued by Desiigner’s potential, but his excitement faded after discovering that the artist didn’t have more music to follow up "Panda".

“The n-gga came to me, what’s the n-gga’s name? He sounded like Future. Panda, panda, panda, I met with him before he did the deal with Kanye and them.”

50 Cent recalled. He went on to explain that when he asked to hear more tracks, Desiigner didn’t have anything else in the vault. Despite the success of "Panda", 50 said:

“The shit was so hot that he had, I was struggling. But I was like, ‘Nah, I can’t give that n-gga that money. Let them give him whatever the fuck they gonna give him.’”

Ultimately, 50 Cent’s decision not to sign Desiigner was validated by the rapper’s struggle to replicate the chart-topping success of Panda", which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016 and went five-times platinum.

Desiigner’s diss track serves as a bold response to 50 Cent’s comments, reigniting interest in the debate over his career and the impact of "Panda".

With his freestyle making waves on social media, all eyes are now on 50 to see how he will respond to this new chapter in the ongoing feud.
