Speaking candidly, Offset revealed that Drake never once sent the group an invoice for features or appearances.
Not only that, but he gave them fair royalty splits on all their collaborations, a rare move in the high-stakes world of hip-hop.
“Always showed love. Always pulled up to the video shoots, all that sh*t. Don’t make a hassle, don’t be charging nothing,”
Offset remarked. According to Offset, the generosity extended well beyond the public eye.
“He didn’t charge us. When we were starting out, he made it clear—equal splits.”

Their connection began in 2013 when Drake hopped on the remix of Migos’ breakout hit “Versace,” giving it mainstream momentum.
The collaboration laid the foundation for future hits like “Walk It Talk It” and “Having Our Way,” both of which became fan favorites in the trap and rap scenes.

Offset also touched on the current status of his relationship with fellow Migos member Quavo, which has been under the spotlight since Takeoff’s tragic passing in 2022.
He told Ebro Darden when asked about a potential reunion.
“It’s possible. It’s not impossible ...There’s no conversations about that though, but we’re just building each other first. We’re checking on each other.”
With KIARI marking a new chapter in Offset’s solo career and the possibility of a future Migos collaboration still on the table, it’s clear that the legacy of the group, and the relationships that built it, continue to resonate throughout hip-hop.
