Young Thug Goes Off on Kendrick Lamar After He Didn’t Give Him a Feature on “Business Is Business” While Showing Love to Drake for Changing Lives

Young Thug Disses Kendrick Lamar in Leaked Audio, Shows Major Love to Drake for Helping Other Artists

Young Thug has been at the center of a whirlwind over the past few days as a series of leaked phone calls have surfaced online.

These audio snippets have provided rare insight into the Atlanta rapper’s thoughts on his peers, and he hasn’t held back.

In one call, Thug stirred the pot with Gunna, implying he deliberately timed a release to clash with his former YSL collaborator.

He also threw shade at Gucci Mane, claiming that has gone “soft” since being released from prison. But things didn’t stop there.

Now, a new audio leak is grabbing major attention in the hip-hop world. In the recording, Young Thug takes direct aim at Kendrick Lamar, calling out the Compton rapper for declining to appear on his 2023 album Business Is Business

According to Thug, Kendrick’s refusal to collaborate reflects a larger issue of not supporting other artists.

“These n****s too big, like ‘I ain’t doing no features,’ why? Why wouldn’t you wanna do a feature for a superstar?”

Thug claims that both he, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby had all reached out to Kendrick with no success. He even took a jab at Baby Keem, questioning Kendrick’s role in the younger rapper’s success.

“Kendrick… You a superstar, you ran up a few hundred M’s, but you ain’t put nobody on, you ain’t even put Baby Keem on…”

In contrast, Thug showered Drake with praise, highlighting how the OVO boss has helped elevate countless careers in the rap game.

“You supposed to be a na blessing n**s. That’s why these n*s will never be bigger than Drake, EVER in life …. You know how many lives Drake changed? How many n**s can take care of their family because of [Drake]?”

Thug further claimed that Kendrick lacks the mainstream reach Drake enjoys. He argued that collaborating with artists like himself, Lil Durk, or Lil Baby would give Kendrick more traction with casual music fans, not just die-hard hip-hop heads.

He also made bold statements about Kendrick’s regional influence, alleging the East Coast doesn’t “f**k with” him.

Thug ended the clip by taking a dig at Kendrick’s low profile on social media and called Baby Keem “bullsh*t as Keem.”

With these bold comments now circulating across the internet, the rift between Young Thug and Kendrick Lamar may be deeper than fans previously realized.

As tensions rise, it’s clear that Thug is unafraid to challenge even the biggest names in rap.
