Gunna Is Reportedly Leaving YSL And Is Allegedly Signing a New Deal With Atlantic Records - WhatsOnRap

Gunna is reportedly getting ready to leave YSL after the telling allegations and will be signing to Atlantic Records

Gunna may be butting heads with YSL.  After his plea agreement in the Young Slime Life RICO case, a new rumor claims that Gunna is wanting to leave Young Thug's label. Gunna wants out leave YSL Records, according to DJ Akademiks, since the relationship has gotten tense.

“From what I’m hearing from the label side, a lot of people believe that Gunna is going to be seeking to leave YSL just because the relationship is fractured,” said the podcaster. “It’s just no way you go through this and come out on the other side.”

According to Akademiks, Gunna's contract might be bought out or he will go to Atlantic Records, which also houses YSL and 300 Entertainment.

“A lot of people believe that Atlantic Records might have Gunna soon based on turmoil and strife between everybody in YSL and what’s going on with Thug,” he adds.

Gunna apparently has an album prepared for release on which he would "discuss a bunch of shit," but he has been waiting to watch how things go with Thug, who is facing substantial jail time.

Gunna was freed from jail in December after accepting a negotiated plea, known as an Alford plea, in which he admitted to a racketeering conspiracy charge.

Gunna has been accused of snitching on Thug by taking the Alford plea. His legal team made a statement this week denying that Gunna collaborated with police.
