In response, Kailen asserted that he delayed his response in order to contact law enforcement and his legal counsel. He also emphasized his intention to keep the incident private, expressing shock and distancing himself from the parties involved.

January 31, 2023, marked the commencement of Kailen's month-long subathlon. By February 28, 2023, he had achieved a historic milestone, becoming the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, with a peak of 306,621 subscribers.
