Schoolboy Q Shuts Down Retirement Talk:

Drawing inspiration from rap legends like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Nas, Jay-Z, and Eminem, who continue to thrive in the industry, ScHoolboy Q remains steadfast in his resolve to keep making music for as long as he's able. He envisions himself rapping well into old age, following in the footsteps of icons like B.B. King.

"I'm rappin' until I'm 80," he declared. "Rap is still new, so we don't have that many 80-year-olds still killin' it. I'm gonna be 80, still on the mic, crackin'. Imma be doing this shit forever." For ScHoolboy Q, music isn't just a career—it's a form of self-expression and therapy. He views the microphone as his ultimate tool for channeling his thoughts and emotions, equating it to a therapist.
"I don't ever plan on stopping," he emphasized. "This is all I got. This is the way I express myself. I don't need a therapist, I got a microphone."

In addition to discussing his unwavering commitment to music, ScHoolboy Q also reflected on a missed opportunity in his career. He revealed that he once passed on a beat that later became a major hit for Travis Scott. The beat, originally titled "Goosebumps," was offered to ScHoolboy Q by producer Cardo, but he ultimately decided to let it go.

"Every Cardo beat you heard, I done had it," ScHoolboy Q revealed. "I had all these beats." When asked if he regretted passing on any particular beat, ScHoolboy Q immediately pointed to "Goosebumps" as the one that got away.

As ScHoolboy Q continues to make waves in the hip-hop scene, his unwavering dedication to his craft and refusal to retire serve as a testament to his enduring passion for music.
