Sharing his experience on Nyla Symone’s We Need To Talk podcast, NASAAN recounted the surreal moment from his dad’s memorial service.

Reflecting on the encounter, NASAAN vividly recalled 50 Cent's presence at the funeral, alongside Dr. Dre and Eminem

Despite his young age at the time, NASAAN couldn't help but be captivated by the aura of the legendary rapper. "The entire funeral I’m just staring at him. He’s sitting with Dr. Dre and Eminem. I’m like, ‘Bro, that’s 50 Cent.’ I wanted to be that guy. That was a core memory of mine,” he shared.

Interestingly, despite Eminem's close relationship with Proof, NASAAN recently engaged in some playful banter with the Detroit rap legend.

Upon learning that Eminem's release date coincided with his own, NASAAN jokingly warned Eminem about potential competition in sales.

In a tweet, he wrote, "@Eminem dropping the same day as me? i wouldn’t do that if i was you, UNLESSSS you wanna get out sold OG."

He then encouraged fans to pre-save his upcoming project, Error 404, slated for release on May 31, the same date as Eminem's anticipated drop.
Error 404, NASAAN's debut project, boasts collaborations with esteemed artists such as Royce Da 5’9″, as well as local talents like Icewear Vezzo and BabyTron

The project aims to showcase NASAAN's unique talent and perspective, with the first single, "Goated," featuring Royce, already making waves among fans.

The intersection of personal anecdotes and professional milestones in NASAAN's journey serves as a testament to his resilience and determination to carve out his own path in the hip-hop industry.

As he navigates the legacy of his father and forges his own identity, NASAAN continues to make waves with his music and authentic storytelling.
