Cardi B Reveals She “Hated” Living in Atlanta Amid Divorce from Offset

Cardi B has recently opened up about her discomfort with living in Atlanta during her ongoing divorce from fellow rapper Offset, who hails from the city.

In a lively Instagram Live session on August 22, the outspoken rapper shared her feelings about the Georgia capital, signaling a clear reluctance to claim it as her home.

In her candid remarks, Cardi clarified her living arrangements, stating that she currently resides in New Jersey with her children.

She emphasized that although she owns a house in Atlanta, she hardly spends time there.

“I don’t live in Atlanta. I have a house in Atlanta. I only go to Atlanta like three or four times a year. And probably I go for a week, maybe less. I tried to move to Atlanta in 2018 and I lived there for like six months. And I hated it. I don’t have not one friend in Atlanta, and I don’t have not even one family member in Atlanta. So I just don’t like Atlanta.”

Cardi B Admits She "Hated" Living in Atlanta Amidst Divorce from Offset:

While dissecting her personal struggles, rapper Pooh Shiesty, who is currently incarcerated, made a surprise appearance in the comments of Cardi's live stream.

He flirtatiously remarked, “I’m 5 mins away baby open the door,” adding an unexpected twist to the conversation.

Offset, navigating his own challenges amid their divorce, responded indirectly to Shiesty’s comment.

He took to X (formerly Twitter), posting a series of laughing emojis, which many interpreted as a reaction to the situation and his estranged wife’s public commentary.

Cardi’s reflections on her time in Atlanta suggest a deeper narrative about the pressures of fame and personal relationships in the hip-hop industry.

With each passing day, fans watch closely as Cardi and Offset navigate their complex relationship while expecting their third child.

As Cardi continues to carve her own path, her journey offers an authentic glimpse into the balancing act of motherhood, career, and personal growth amidst the challenges of the industry.
